- Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
- Promote open communication to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and company policies.
- Support collective bargaining processes and labor union negotiations (if applicable).
- Monitor and implement provisions of collective bargaining agreements (CBA).
- Manage investigations of employee complaints, misconduct, or violations of policies.
- Recommend and facilitate appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with due process.
- Maintain accurate records of grievances, hearings, and outcomes.
- Assist in the formulation, review, and enforcement of HR and labor-related policies.
- Ensure consistent application of workplace policies and procedures across departments.
- Support employee engagement initiatives to strengthen morale and retention.
- Organize programs that promote employee welfare, well-being, and workplace harmony.
- Foster positive management–employee relations through regular dialogues and feedback sessions.
- Prepare reports on employee relations trends, disciplinary cases, and grievance statistics.
- Maintain confidential employee relations records and documentation.
- Conduct orientations and training for managers and employees on labor laws, grievance handling, and workplace policies.
- Advise leadership on emerging employee relations issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Psychology, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, or HR (e.g., CHRP, CHRM) are an advantage.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in employee relations, labor relations, or human resources.
- Experience in grievance handling, disciplinary case management, and policy implementation.
- Exposure to union/labor relations and collective bargaining (preferred, if applicable).
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and due process procedures.
- Understanding of employee engagement and organizational culture-building.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and mediation abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for handling complex employee issues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive matters.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and impartiality.
- Empathetic yet firm approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management and employees.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
