Junior Front-End Software Engineer (Contract - Remote) Our firm is seeking a Junior Front-End Software Engineer to support the build and launch of our client-facing platform. This role is fully remote and offered on a contract basis , with a competitive hourly rate for the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing user-facing features for our web platform Work with senior engineers to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and performant code Support integration of front-end components with backend services and APIs Test and debug code to ensure reliability across browsers and devices Contribute to code reviews and maintain clean, reusable code standards Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality features on schedule Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular preferred) Basic understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility Knowledge of Git for version control Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from senior team members Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment Nice to Have Exposure to TypeScript or state management libraries (Redux, Pinia, Vuex) Experience with Figma or similar design collaboration tools Familiarity with basic testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) Contract Details Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension based on project needs and performance Fully remote working arrangement Flexible hours and autonomy over your work schedule Competitive hourly rate How to Apply We understand there is no such thing as a perfect fit and we are eager to hear from you if this role interests you.
