- Direct, verify, and approve the engineering drawings and calculations prepared by local subcontractors
- Review and comment on method statements prepared by the transportation supplier
- Preparation of job method statement, risk assessment, and traffic management plan for heavy transportation.
- Infrastructure (Road/ bridge / Sea Port/ Jetty) survey
- Review and approve port capacity assessment, road and river surveys prepared by local offices in the Asia Pacific region. Design and provide technical solutions for clients to overcome obstacles.
- Review and comment on lifting plans, stowage plans, and lashing plans provided by ocean carriers for the transport of heavy lift and breakbulk cargo
- Supervise loading/unloading breakbulk/heavy, operations for breakbulk/heavy, lift shipments in the Asia Pacific region.
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors
- Assist in responding to specifications and bid documents, cost estimates and other tender documents.
- At least a Bachelor’s in Engineering, preferably Civil or related field of study.
- Knowledge of highway laws, codes, standards, and specifications pertaining to highway/marine engineering.
- Ability to make mathematical computations and design engineering projects.
- With at least 1 year’s experience in an Engineering or similar role and scope.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with others
- AutoCAD skill is a must.
- Exposure to the Oil & Gas Bid/Tender process will be an advantage.
- Experience in working for international Oil & Gas and Energy projects either in the Freight Forwarding, EPC Contractor or Client side will be an added factor.
- Independent Team Player and able to work under pressure.
- High sense of collaboration and ability to articulate objectives across multiple stakeholders.
- Results-driven,, customer-oriented and meticulous.
- Strong organizational skills (prioritize, plan, multi-task, assign, follow, and control).
