Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Jumbo Operator to operate and maintain jumbo drilling equipment efficiently and safely in underground mining operations.The role will report to the mining supervisor.Key tasks and responsibilities:Implements advanced drilling techniques and technologies to improve drilling efficiency and accuracy.Trains and mentors junior operators, sharing best practices and providing guidance on jumbo operation techniques.Skilfully and safely operate other mining underground equipmentQualificationsBehaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way.Educational Background: At least high school graduateWork Experience and Background: 5+ years experience in Jumbo OperationSpecialization/License: Driver's licenseKnowledge: in mining operation and safety protocolsSkills: Communication, Equipment Operation, Material handlingAbilities: Adaptability, Team collaboration, Problem-solving, Physical enduranceAdditional InformationWHAT'S ON OFFER:
