Title: Bookkeeper Summary Of Position Oversee company&aposs financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments. Duties & Responsibilities Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance. Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries. Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries. Responsible for completing monthly sales summaries for all restaurants including; ghost kitchens, and all third-party apps like grubhub, ubereats, doordash, and chownow. Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries. Maintains historical records by filling documents. Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Maps invoices through Plate IQ. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications Establishing and implementing financial standards and procedures Conducting detailed financial and operational analysis Managing complex data and multi-faceted financial transactions Preparing and presenting accurate financial reports and research findings Proficient in data entry with a high level of speed and accuracy Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Familiarity with SFAS (Statements of Financial Accounting Standards) compliance Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Committed to accuracy, thoroughness, and consistency in all financial documentation Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.
