This position provide support to operations by allocating resources to audit either the process or the products. This position will ensure the compliance of the plant to process or product specification. This position covers the PCBA and Final assembly operations. The Quality Engineer will also interact with customers to address and resolve quality issues, ensuring customer satisfaction. Supervise and give direction to PQC, OBA, OQC, IPQC, Repair (schedule, shifting, rotation) Ensure implementation or execution of defined quality plan for OBA, IPQC inspection and repair. Monitor the hold (FG, PCBA) and push the resolution with cross-functional team. Review and summarize the OBA (PCBA & FA) and IPQC results and publish the results for team awareness. Ensures compliance with standards, identifies issues, and recommends solutions. Allocate manpower support as per production requirements Facilitate counseling/coaching to his/her subordinates. Support Quality Management System, implement, maintain quality assurance protocols. Plan and implement inspection and testing procedures for raw materials, in-process items, and finished products. Analyze test yield data and other quality reports to identify product quality issues and areas for improvement. Investigate customer complaints and product quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues promptly. Provide training to staff on quality control procedures and best practices. Support new product development by providing input on quality and reliability standards. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a related role Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledgeable in production and manufacturing methods and procedures, material handling, inspections and quality control Familiar with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) assembly and product behavior Strong communication and presentation skills Knowledgeable in 7 QC tools, 8D report, SAP Good analytical and technical skills ESD and IPC certification/training awareness Strong leadership skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment.
