ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our AI & Analytics organization in Manila. This role sits within the Transformation function at Teleperformance Philippines and focuses on solving real business problems using data science and analytics. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and business orientation matter far more. Prior healthcare experience is a plus, but not a requirement. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, not a people-management role. You will work closely with business, operations, and transformation stakeholders to deliver solutions that create measurable impact. WHAT YOU WILL DO Own problems end-to-end -> from identifying the opportunity to delivering and measuring impact Quickly understanding client business models, operations, and pain points Identify business problems that can be solved using data science and analytics Leverage existing data sources and identify new data sources to increase solution value Design and deliver diagnostic, predictive, and ML-assisted analytics solutions Use SQL, Python, and advanced Excel to analyze datasets and generate insights Build basic machine-learning models where appropriate Work closely with operations and transformation teams to deploy solutions Track, measure, and optimize solution performance Communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders Act as a trusted data science & analytics partner ROLE STRUCTURE & SENIORITY Hands-on individual contributor role No direct people management responsibilities Opportunity to mentor junior team members as the function scales Clear growth pathways into senior IC or leadership roles REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to understand the lay of the business & identify opportunities for projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and advanced Excel Understanding of basic machine-learning concepts Ability to translate analysis into business insights TOOLS & TECHNOLOGIES SQL Python Advanced Excel BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau Cloud exposure is a plus Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Excellent stakeholder communication and storytelling skills Innovative mindset with strong attention to quality and detail High integrity, collaborative, and empathetic leadership style TRAINING & GROWTH Structured on-the-job training in SQL, Python, and Machine Learning Exposure to real enterprise client problems Strong learning curve and career growth opportunities
