Bachelor’s Degree in Civil EngineeringMaster’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or Water Resources (preferred)Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience in dam engineering projects.At least 5 years as Resident Engineer, Site Engineer, or Construction Supervision Engineer for dam worksProven experience in one or more of the following:Concrete gravity dams, embankment dams, or RCC damsSpillways, intake structures, outlet works, and diversion tunnelsFoundation treatment (grouting, cutoff walls, drainage systems)Experience supervising:Contractor’s construction activitiesQuality control and quality assurance programsConstruction methods, sequencing, and temporary worksExperience in hydropower or multipurpose dam projects is an advantageStrong knowledge of: Dam construction methods and materials; Geotechnical and hydraulic engineering principles; Dam safety requirements and risk managementAbility to review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.Excellent site supervision and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of dam safety requirements, construction monitoring, and instrumentation.Competence in progress monitoring, reporting, and documentation.Proficient in engineering software and MS Office applications.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site issues simultaneously.At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
