MissionThe Testing & Commissioning Manager is responsible for leading the entire commissioning lifecycle of an Underground Metro Line and its Maintenance Depot. This includes oversight of factory and site-level testing, subsystem integration, schedule planning, team recruitment, and operations validation. The role ensures safe and timely readiness of systems in accordance with regulatory, contractual, and technical standards.Main ResponsibilitiesPlanning & StrategyDevelop phased Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Master Plan for metro line and depot.Define T&C team structure, lead recruitment, onboarding, and training.Coordinate subsystem commissioning with internal teams and contractors.Manage interfaces across Civil, MEP, signaling, SCADA, Telecom, rolling stock, AFC, OCS, Depot Equipment, and power supply.Schedule & IntegrationMaintain integrated T&C schedule covering FAT, SAT, SIT, Test Run, Trial Operation.Track milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation and recovery plans.Collaborate with planners and subsystem teams for sequencing.Report progress with dashboards and KPIs.Factory & Site TestingSupervise Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and mock-up testing.Manage Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), System Integration Tests (SIT), Temporary and Trial Operations.Oversee depot commissioning of key equipment and SCADA interfaces.Compliance & DocumentationMaintain all T&C documentation, apply RAMS principles, and ensure compliance with standards (EN 50126/50128/50129, IEC 61508).Coordinate certification with clients and authorities.Conduct audits and readiness reviews.Stakeholder EngagementRepresent T&C in reviews and committees.Communicate dependencies and align T&C with operations, construction, design, and safety.ProfileTypically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5-6 years of experience
