- Effectively qualify leads and perform needs assessment, engaging in team selling (at times)
- Upgrade and upsell existing freemium or tiered customers through outbound
- Lead sales cycle including opportunity sourcing (prospecting), consultation, pricing, and contract negotiation through deal close
- Guide clients through the upgrade path/motion, focusing on customers at a low package
- Handle a transactional sales cycle within 2 weeks, particularly with existing users
- Engage existing users through outbound calls and emails
- Maintain pipelines and Salesforce, with an emphasis on heavy email and outbound calls
- Meet or exceed sales objectives
- Build and nurture strong relationships with senior executives and business champions
- Utilize solution and value-selling techniques along with overcoming objections to effectively guide sales processes to close
- Prospect and identify accounts within campaign’s base that are ready for consolidation, running complex sales situations and sales campaigns
- Work strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities, challenges, and provide recommended solutions
- Keep informed of product line, competition, and business trends
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing with a customer-centric lens
- 1-3 years SaaS sales experience.
- Experience and strong relationships with key decision-makers across Mid-market organizations
- Process Oriented
- Able to perform high level of tasks in a short time.
- Able to do heavy outbound – 30-50 calls/emails a day
- Ability to strategically prospect into Mid-Market accounts, navigating through organizations to identify decision-makers
- Experience operating in a high-energy, fast-paced environment focused on hyper-growth
- Strong track record of quota attainment and outstanding performance in a customer-focused environment
- Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), in addition to proven ability engaging with C-Level executives
- Inquisitive nature, with strong analytical thinking and reasoning skills
- Ability to successfully drive revenue and growth through the development of long-term, strategic relationships with new and existing customers by navigating complex organizations
- Strong desire and proven ability to work cross-functionally across a global organization with a solutions-focused approach
