We do this through our four-pillar Diamond Program which consists of: 1) good breeding & genetics, 2) complete healthcare 3) sound management and 4) excellent nutrition & feeding.Job DescriptionImplements and monitors feeding trial protocol for Swine.Monitors or gather data and keeps record of the following:daily feed consumptiondaily inventory of feed and trial animalsdaily mortalitiesdaily temperature readingsWeight of the animals during weighting periodsother pertinent data (number of medicated animals, vaccination given, etc.)Forecasts and coordinates the delivery of trial feeds.Implements biosecurity measures and SOPs of the farm.Attests the weighing of trial animals and ensure accuracyRecords all data and observations that may affect feeding trials.Maintains record for all monitored activities during the operations.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Major in Animal Science or Animal Husbandry.Experience:Preferably with prior experience in swine farm operations or research but fresh graduates with utmost desire to learn and do research work are also welcome.Licenses:Board passer in AgricultureOther Requirements:Willingness to stay in the farm for at least a month without going home.Additional InformationPhysical EffortGenerally light work that requires little physical effort but may also need physical effort during weighing of pigs and leftover feeds.Working Conditions and Hazards:Normal swine farm environment
