Our Global Connectivity Transformation program will transform our WAN to a fully internet-based SD-WAN, deploy WiFi 6 as our standard wireless technology, modernize the LAN switching environment and deploy new capabilities to secure the network.We are looking to hire an Associate Connectivity Engineer for Network Services to help us deliver this ambitious transformation.Together with your team, you will design, configure, maintain, and visualize the PMI global network in all manufacturing locations (32+factories,60+ warehouses). On top the person will be in charge to modernize LAN/WLAN services leading this stream in our Global Connectivity Transformation program (in total 144 locations to be deployed with new set-up of LAN/WLAN).
This position will be part of an agile team of engineers located in Krakow, Poland and working on building the future of PMI Connectivity and supporting our Cloud Transformation journey.The PMI Connectivity team supports a truly global network, comprised of WAN, MAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, telephony, firewalls, load balancers, remote access solutions, hybrid cloud connectivity, etc. This team works hand in hand with our Managed Network Service Provider to support PMI networks around the globe.JOIN US!WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

2+ years of experience of managing, or supporting enterprise data and voice networks
Experience in the network services delivery field within telecommunications vendor / service provider
Basic certifications from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or AWS
Experience with the following technologies:

o Cisco Routers and Switches
o Cisco Meraki and vEdge
o Palo Alto Firewalls

Expertise in the following technologies is a plus:

o Cisco SD-Access (DNA-C, ISE)
o Palo Alto Prisma Access
o Knowledge of Industrial Networks (ICS, Purdue)
o Knowledge of Skype for Business / Microsoft Teams, VoIP, SIP, SBCs

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

Delivery of all network services for all manufacturing location in PMI (including managing of Global Network Providers)
Drive service optimization and assure all network services in scope are delivered in line with agreed SLA
Managing the LAN/WLAN transformation for PMI globally
Assure global connectivity services are in line with the solution roadmaps (defined by Network Architecture Team). Analyze and translate business & technical requirements into solutions to achieve complex business objectives for PMI
Work on proactively identifying opportunities to improve and enhance PMI networks.
Examine vendor products to determine the best fit with PMI requirements. Work with network equipment vendors, telecom carriers, network monitoring equipment/software vendors. Recommend technology solutions based on vendor capabilities and product/service offerings to ensure the network is operational, reliable, secure, and efficient
Responsible for complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities associated with one or more technical areas within the Connectivity team. Engage in complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation.
