This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • The Digital Data team is tasked to work with the current data techstack of Chevron to enable delivery of required insights. The team will work with Data Products and will have good understanding of the usability of data.
  • Manages Finance's digital development program and projects, including: developing new process designs; proof of concept pilots; integration with broader enterprise efforts (e.g. Project LEAP); digital project management; building digital fluency within the Finance function; advancing a hiring and development strategy that supports digitalization.
  • Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron's practices.

Applications from motivated and talented individuals with a keen interest in the energy industry are encouraged.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analyticsProven expertise in enterprise-grade BI solutions such as Power BI for visualization, SQL and Power Query for data querying, and Power Platform for automation.Strong understanding of financial principles and reporting standards, such as KPIs, cost structures, and other financial drivers.Expertise in Extract, Transform, Load methodologies and tools and navigating through large datasets.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively frame analytics opportunities and convey data-driven insights through storytellingAbility to discover and prepare data into clean and analyses-ready datasets for analysis.Experience in partnering with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.Preferred qualifications:Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalentExperience with finance and accounting tools (SAP, JDE, Blackline, GEP SMART)Industry experience in oil & gas.Fundamental knowledge of Information Risk Management (IRM).Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification (PL-300)Everything we do at Chevron is guided by our values and our commitment to The Chevron Way (https://www.chevron.com/about/the-chevron-way).
