The Role We're looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build, and optimize dashboards, reports, and data models that turn raw data into actionable insights. In this role, you'll collaborate with business teams to understand requirements, transform and analyze data, and deliver solutions that drive smarter decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modelling), a solid grasp of data visualization best practices, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, business-friendly insights. What You&aposll Do Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. Create optimized DAX measures, calculated fields, and KPIs. Cleanse and transform data using Power Query Editor. Collaborate with business teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements. Perform data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability. Conduct UAT, troubleshooting, and solution documentation. What We&aposre Looking For Technical Skills (Must-Have) Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modelling). Solid understanding of data visualization best practices. Technical Skills (Good To Have) Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Fabric, or GCP). Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines. Understanding of data warehousing and modelling concepts. Understanding of relational databases. Proficiency in SQL for querying, joins, aggregations, and optimizations. Non-Technical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to present and explain insights clearly to business and technical teams. Detail-oriented with focus on data quality and accuracy. Team player with a solution-driven, can-do attitude. Nice-to-Have Skills Domain knowledge in finance or mortgage broking. Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices. Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics. Working on large data migration projects.
