For the better. Together.As a Specialist – Finance Accounting, you will provide stable, recurring, and compliant finance and accounting support for the nominated Hellmann legal entity. The role focuses on transactional accounting, period-end closing, banking, billing, tax support, and reporting activities, ensuring continuity, standardization, and reduced operational risk.
You will work closely with local country stakeholders, SSC colleagues, and global finance teams to deliver accurate and timely financial processing in line with Hellmann policies and regulatory requirements. This position is a hands-on operational role, critical to ensuring efficient day-to-day finance operations for the entity.Key TasksTransactional Accounting & Banking Operations
- Execute end-to-end transactional accounting activities, including invoice processing, bank and cash management, transaction postings, transfers, and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant recording of financial transactions in line with company policies
- Prepare, issue, and dispatch outgoing invoices and support receivables monitoring and overdue collection
- Perform month-end and period-end closing activities, including accrual postings, reversals, and controlling support
- Prepare standard financial reports for internal stakeholders
- Post payroll accounting entries
- Prepare and support monthly VAT declarations
- Perform tax reconciliations and tax account reviews
- Prepare documentation and support internal and external audits
- Prepare required finance inputs for management and regulatory reporting (e.g., GTC, FTE allocation, sustainability, Mercur)
- Support fixed asset, inventory, intercompany, and cost review activities
- Ensure documentation quality, process standardization, and continuous improvement within the SSC
- Strong understanding of transactional finance and accounting processes
- High attention to detail with a structured and disciplined working style
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage recurring tasks within strict deadlines
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working with remote stakeholders and international teams
- Proactive, reliable, and accountable for end-to-end task ownership
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced SSC environment
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support knowledge sharing
- University / Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Hands-on experience with transactional accounting and period-end closing
- International working experience preferred
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Other languages (written and spoken) are beneficial
- Microsoft Excel – advanced skills
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Power BI or reporting tool exposure is an advantage
- Comfortable working with document management and workflow tools
