The Cost Accounting Supervisor will be mainly responsible in ensuring accuracy and completeness of costing-related accounts for the assigned plant, collaborating with operations group for reconciliation on a regular basis and preparing financial reports related to his/her functions. What are the Roles and Responsibilities Prepare journal entries / vouchers on individual accounts to record transactions to the general ledger related to direct labor, variable overhead and other costing adjustments Prepare journal entries on operating expenses accruals and adjustments Prepare periodic schedules and reconciliations of accounts related to costing and inventories Prepare variance analyses reports to identify specific and significant cause/s of cost/expense fluctuations, which will help draw the attention of management to areas where cost is applied or where cost reduction is needed Ensure monitoring of count variances, usages and process orders on a monthly basis in collaboration with production personnel Does actual costing and settlement in SAP Main point-person on monthly, quarterly and annual inventory counts for assigned plant Ensure standard costs in SAP are updated on an annual basis and as the need arises Assist in providing audit requirements and conducting balance sheet reviews Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the financial records Perform other tasks assigned/requested by Plant Finance Manager and BU Controller What are the Qualifications Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy or any similar courses Preferably a CPA/CMA or any similar titles, but not required. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specializing in Finance - Corporate Finance/Investment/Merchant Banking or equivalent. Preferably has experience in food manufacturing industry Must have experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.) Willing to work in Pasig plant.
