Essentials skills & requirements: 2+ years professional experience with Flutter and Node.js Strong written and spoken English communication Familiarity with MySQL Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and clean code principles Comfortable with MacOS Able to work full-time Australian hours (7.30am to 4:00pm Philippine time) with frequent contact. Nice to have AWS / serverless (SST) experience React experience Key Duties Work with the Lead Developer to define technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and deliver high-quality features on time. Develop and maintain cross-platform user interfaces using Flutter for mobile and web, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and accessibility. Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services with Node.js, integrating with MySQL databases for efficient data handling, security, and reliability. Design and implement scalable, modular systems using Object-Oriented Design principles, ensuring maintainable code and reusable architecture across front-end and back-end components. Contribute to or extend React-based frontend components when needed Troubleshoot, debug, implement automated tests, and contribute to improving system reliability and performance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Technology You'll need a reliable computer and internet connection suitable for daily development work. A MacBook Pro (M1 or higher) with at least 16GB RAM is strongly recommended to match our toolchain; 32GB is ideal for optimal performance.
