Permanent Role Salary: $5k p/m USD My client is Japan based Renewable Energy business where their mission is to resolve energy and global warming issues, revitalize local communities and societies by developing and operating core power sources utilizing renewable energy. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in Manila, some one who has renewable energy power generation projects (wind, solar, etc.) experience in the Philippines. Responsibilities: Develop a strategy for the most efficient grid connection, which involves applying for the connection, engaging in technical negotiations with NGCP, and finalizing the grid connection contract. Manage conceptual design requests by coordinating with electrical design consultants, participating in technical discussions, and conducting thorough reviews. Solicit cost estimates from EPCs and manufacturers, make selections based on discussions about technology and costs, and offer contract support. Assist the team in completing comprehensive due diligence covering business, financial, technical, and regulatory aspects. Provide technical support for project development, addressing considerations related to schedules and contracts. Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in electrical field development Must have knowledge of grid interconnection and have experience in applying to, negotiating with, and contracting with the NGCB. Business level proficiency in oral and written communication in English; Teamwork attitude. The successful candidate will communicate closely with Team; Self starter.
