If you’re passionate about developing your career, while helping others along the way, come join the Broadridge team.We are looking to hire a senior Windows Systems Engineer with Linux experience to join our Global Systems Engineering Team. As part of the team, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance and consolidation of our global server infrastructure hosted in data centers worldwide, and act directly on client-facing systems. You will oversee the day-to-day operations as well as work on challenging projects aimed towards continuous improvement and evolution of our technology environment.The infrastructure itself represents a motivating challenge: Windows platforms spread across more than 200 physical servers hosting 1,500 VM’s located in 4 data centers worldwide. The system infrastructure consists of multiple server platforms and NAS storage.Responsibilities include:Engineering, implementation, and maintenance of Operating Systems and monitoring toolsDaily administration of systems infrastructureBuild and implement automated deployment and management tools and processes for efficiency and consistencyAnalysis and resolution of system-related incidentsParticipate in the continuous improvement process for refining the architecture, performance, and scalability to improve the quality and uptime of the environmentCoordinate the deployment of new hardware to meet client expectationsDevelop and enhance system policies, procedures, and controlsEnsure adherence to Information Security guidelinesCollaborate with international clients and global internal teamsTechnologies integral to our operating environments include:Microsoft Windows 2019/2022 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a plus)Automation and deployment toolsVirtual IP managementNetworking devices: Cisco, AristaServer hardware platforms: Dell / HP / Cisco UCSDR technologies: Zerto or equivalentVirtualization Hypervisors: VMware, Ovirt, RedHat KVMSAN/NAS Storage (e.g., Vast, EMC, Hitachi, NetApp)Monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog,WPA, WPR, Nagios, ITRS, Spectrum etc.)RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience(MCSE) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certification preferredMinimum of 7 years Windows Systems Engineering experience within a large infrastructure environmentMinimum of 2 years UNIX/Linux Engineering experience within a large infrastructure environmentVery strong problem-solving skills, with proven ability to analyze, determine root cause and resolution of complex problemsExperience in tracking and analyzing performance and resource utilization of systems, as well as recommending capacity changes, upgrades, and enhancements based on the technical analysis to ensure high availability and maintenance of SLAsGood analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently or in a team environmentStrong experience in production support of 24/7 live environments.
