About the role As a Senior External Auditor joining our team, you will be required to provide audit services to a portfolio of external clients of the firm. The main responsibilities of this role will include: Conducting audits of accounting systems, procedures and financial statements Agreeing reconciliations and other supporting documents to trial balances / financial statements Applying professional scepticism as part of the audit process Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements Liaising with individuals from a non-financial background to understand business requirements and suggest options and recommendations to clients Preparing journal entries and financial statements Reviewing organisations internal control environment Monitoring audit costs by reference to budgeted fees for individual audits Communication with Australian team members in respect of queries and review points About the Person You will be working with a team of productive and enthusiastic professionals, this role will provide high quality services to a defined and limited portfolio of external clients that include non-profit and for-profit entities.
