Senior Construction Manager Job Summary: The Construction Manager is accountable for the on-time, on-budget, and on-standard delivery of all store construction projects. This role leads the execution of the construction calendar and ensures full compliance with design, quality, and cost requirements. The Construction Manager oversees the construction team and works closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clear coordination, timely decision-making, and smooth project delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Construction MANAGEMENT and SUPERVISION Monitor overall project and work activities by general and subcontractors, suppliers. Coordinate and oversee subcontractor works to ensure proper execution and compliance. Coordinate Plans, Designs, and Specifications implementation on site. Interpret and execute plans and specifications, verifying correct implementation on site. Resolve delays in target schedule and work-related issues promptly. Coordinate requisition, issuance, and timely delivery of required materials on site. Ensure compliance of installed materials with approved submittals and tests. New Store Project MANAGEMENT Monitor overall project and work activities by different departments thru the coordination guideline (more of interdepartmental) Resolve delays and escalate project delays promptly. Budgeting and Cost Evaluation In charge of budgeting and costing evaluation. This includes collaborating with the internal team, main contractor, subcontractors, and other consultants to ensure the expected quality is achieved within the agreed budget and timeline. Sources and pre-qualifies contractors and suppliers. Evaluate and check work accomplishments versus submitted billings. Reviews evaluated progress billings and reviews the amount certifiable for release together. Regulates site instructions and evaluates corresponding variation orders and cost implications. People Management Conduct evaluation of work, performance, and quality of internal teams.
