- Maintain visibility of new business relationships and emerging market opportunities.
- Identify, approach, and develop new clients for Paymentology’s products and services.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue high-potential business prospects.
- Work closely with the Regional Director to define and target key markets and strategic prospects.
- Build and maintain a robust annual sales pipeline with clearly defined targets and milestones.
- Accurately track, manage, and report on pipeline activity and sales forecasts on an ongoing basis.
- Diagnose prospect needs and recommend tailored product and service solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Own the entire sales process from initial engagement through negotiation and contract signature.
- Nurture and manage regional pipeline opportunities to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations with prospective clients.
- Collaborate closely with legal counsel and finance teams to structure and finalise commercial agreements.
- Take full responsibility for sales administration tasks, including securing client contract signatures.
- Execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Drive the growth of Paymentology’s customer base and strengthen its regional market presence.
10% - 25%What it takes to succeed:
- 5–7 years of Business Development experience within the fintech or payments industry.
- Strong knowledge of the cards and payments industry, with specific expertise in the issuing landscape.
- High attention to detail with the ability to understand the complexities of the payments market and the economics that drive the business.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects across different time zones.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to define priorities and deliver against ambitious goals.
- Proven ability to qualify leads and identify key decision-makers within client organisations.
- Strong capability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Excellent commercial acumen, including financial modelling and deal structuring skills.
- Resilience and the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining focus on successful outcomes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
