Your role As a Tax Associate at Equity Labs, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients regarding their tax matters. You&aposll be responsible for ensuring accurate tax reviews and navigating tax assessments with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). To excel in this role, you should demonstrate: Expert Tax Handling: Efficiently resolve and address complex tax issues for assigned clients, particularly those involving BIR Letter of Assessments (LOA). Independent Client Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, representing them in discussions and negotiations with tax authorities. Comprehensive Compliance Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulations, ensuring client compliance with the BIR and other relevant bodies. Professional Communication: Demonstrate confidence and professionalism in interactions with clients and government officials. Process Improvement: Continuously seek to improve tax-related workflows and ensure high-quality service delivery.
