ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryAssists in the accounting processes to record business transactions and to prepare various accounting documents and financial statements of OMLF Insurance Agency (OIA). Assists in ensuring all business transactions and various accounting documents complies with the requirements of the respective Management, Stockholders, regulators, creditors and other stakeholders of OIA.Job Description

Checks and reviews Journal Vouchers, Check Vouchers and Statement of Accounts against the supporting documents
Check and reviews the proper end of month/quarter/year closing routings of all accounting transactions of OIA.
Checks and reviews tax returns of OIA.
Checks and reviews the bank reconciliation statements of the bank accounts of OIA.
Reviews monthly accounting schedules
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

Graduate of BS Accountancy or equivalent
With general knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and practices.
Preferably a CPA
Preferably with background/experience in external audit from Top Audit Firm
Proficient in Excel, Word and other MS Office application
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research, analytical and problem solving ability
Can work under pressure with minimal supervision
