Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Develop and execute action plans using system tools according to standard operating procedures. Manage purchase orders, coordinating with internal and external parties. Resolve supply constraints that could impact customer satisfaction, supply availability, and inventory objectives. Review open purchase orders and backlogs daily, expediting or pushing out excess supply as needed, and updating system dock dates. Manage supplier performance related to on-time delivery, quantity, and cost through focused communication, escalating issues when necessary. Data & System Management: Maintain deep working knowledge of different product classes to ensure robust supply plans. Compile, analyze, and present data-driven insights on inventory opportunities, planning parameters, and action item commitments. Perform system part maintenance and set up new parts. Manage assigned parts in Salesforce to support customer requirements. Project Leadership & Collaboration: Lead project management for Oracle and/or SAP integration specific to buying/planning. Support global projects assigned by supervisors or category managers, including e-sourcing, pricing analysis/savings, and supplier improvement initiatives. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on tactical and strategic business plans, including 'Just Do It' initiatives, improvement/savings projects, and Kaizen activities. Perform other ad hoc tasks requested by management and support general company activities. Required Education / Experience / Skills Education: Four-year degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or manufacturing. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in supply chain functions, specifically purchasing and/or supply planning. Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle database systems. Teamwork & Leadership: A team player who can also lead projects. Communication: Above-average verbal and written communication skills. Adaptability: Ability to analyze processes, enact change, and think both operationally and strategically to achieve business goals.
