Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Unsecured Risk, Collections & Bureau Head (VP Level) . This role is responsible for forecasting credit losses and recoveries, managing cost of credit, and leading risk mitigation strategies across unsecured portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, deep expertise in credit risk and collections, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive sustainable portfolio performance. Key Responsibilities Lead credit loss and recovery forecasting to effectively manage Cost of Credit Develop and implement strategies to reduce portfolio risk and delinquency levels Oversee unsecured risk, collections, and bureau functions Manage and mentor multiple teams (including direct and indirect reports) Partner with internal stakeholders to align risk strategies with business goals Drive continuous improvement in collections performance and credit risk processes Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize portfolio outcomes Present insights, forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in credit risk management , preferably within the banking or financial services industry Proven leadership experience managing teams (experience handling multiple teams is a plus) Open to AVP-level candidates with at least 3 years in role who are ready to step up to VP level Strong background in delinquency management and forecasting Demonstrated experience in talent development and retention Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Why Join Us Opportunity to take on a strategic leadership role with high impact Work with a dynamic and collaborative team Competitive compensation and benefits package Career growth in a leading financial institution
