In this role, you will join a developing team, working in close interaction with our global network.The main role will be to work as Process Engineer in the project development, feasibility studies, conceptual engineering, basic engineering and FEED phases of hydrogen generation plants and derivatives (methanol, ammonia, methane) in Power-To-X projects.The main functions to be addressed will be the following:

Collaborate in conceptual engineering processes, feasibility studies, basic, FEED and detail engineering for the design of hydrogen production plants and its derivatives.
Participate in conceptual and feasibility studies. As well as CAPEX/OPEX calculations and economic modelling of Hydrogen Projects (LCOH).
Review Deliverables, ensuring their quality and execution within the deadlines required by the Project planning.
Attend technical and project management meetings with customers, vendors, licensors, partners, and other technical disciplines (HAZID, HAZOP, etc.).
Participate in the design of equipment, systems, layouts and instrument specification.
Elaborate Material and Energy Balances, equipment and piping sizing calculations, Process simulations, flow diagrams (PFD), P&ID diagrams, Process philosophy and descriptions, Operation Manuals and Test Procedures.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
1-3 years' experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and/or Energy Engineering sector.
High level of English (C1). Writing and communication skills.
Excellent social and team working skills. Our clients are located in Spanish and non-Spanish speaking countries, and, on the other hand, our work requires daily collaboration -in English- with other AFRY offices.
Versatility between Process Engineer and Project Engineer.
Handling of process simulation programs (HYSYS, ASPEN) and drawing (AutoCAD).
