Lead the Manila office and ensure effective collaboration and productivity among team members.
Manage client case processes from initiation to resolution, ensuring all financial negotiations are handled with expertise and sensitivity.
Communicate directly with creditors to negotiate terms that benefit and empower our clients.
Act as a regional leader to bridge operations between our teams in the Philippines and Australia, promoting a unified approach.
Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and ethical standards related to debt management.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Leadership
Oversee the daily operations of the Manila office, creating a collaborative and efficient environment that aligns with the organization’s goals.
Work closely with the Australian leadership team to shape and refine the role’s responsibilities as the company grows.
Maintain open and strong communication channels between the Philippines and Australian teams to foster teamwork, knowledge sharing, and strategic alignment.
Provide positive leadership, mentorship, and support to the Manila team, ensuring high performance, compliance with policies, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Creditor Engagement
Lead creditor communications by contacting secured and unsecured creditors, gathering relevant debt information, requesting moratoriums, and providing timely updates on client cases.
Case Management
Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ eligibility and suitability for debt management solutions by carefully reviewing supporting documents and understanding their financial situations.
Develop sustainable and manageable payment plans that consider clients’ total debt, household income, and expenses, ensuring arrangements are practical and sustainable.
Collaborate closely with Debt Management Consultants, providing guidance and leveraging team knowledge to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients, while meeting creditor requirements.
Proposal Submission
Support the preparation, review, and submission of Debt Agreement proposals and informal payment arrangements, making sure all legislative and organizational standards are met.
Contribute to risk management efforts by identifying compliance issues or breaches, and working with management to develop effective strategies to address them.
Proven leadership and team management experience, particularly in cross-functional and multicultural settings.
Strong understanding of financial services, particularly in debt management and negotiation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to manage sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven track record of managing complex case loads.
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in the financial sector, particularly in debt resolution or credit management, is highly desirable.
Understanding of the legal and regulatory environments in both the Philippines and Australia.
Capability to implement process improvements and best practices in case management.
Multilingual abilities, particularly Tagalog, are advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
