Position Overview Team Overview Cost Control team is responsible for the overall reasonableness and completeness of an entity/location (Cost Control) and business's (Cost Operations) costs which involves day to day discussions with internal stakeholders regarding any cost related item as well as timely review of MECC (MECC or Month End Cost Close means the procedures that are performed at the end of a month to close cost related books and records in the relevant system) actual balances vis a vis business expectations. Act as a bridge between various finance partners to provide direction and advisory on various cost projects, perform consultations and manage inquiries. Act as business point of contact and facilitate communication between relevant stakeholders on any issues affecting the costs. Responsible for all 4 boxes of Validation and Control ensuring a robust control environment and making appropriate recommendations Responsible for preparing cost forecasts, commentaries for cost governance packs and any quarterly attestation commentary Able to drive client relationship strategy and delivering effective relationships at all levels in the organization. You are to aggressively drive collaboration and teamwork across the different work streams and with clients to be able to deliver on the functional objectives. You will ensure that proper root because analysis is performed and perform analytical review of process outputs to detect irregularities, error or variances.
