- Take part in our BI & Analytics strategy execution including the data lake getting data from a wide number of internal and external data sources.
- Use your deep technical skills and extensive knowledge in collaboration with other data professionals to build a modern data platform architecture based on Microsoft Azure technologies
- Establish monitoring and early identification of issues in the data pipeline
- Help us take the next step towards a more advanced data foundation by creating modeled and curated data sets including data lineage
- Get involved in high profile initiatives to assist in defining the right data flow architecture and deliver tangible results quickly
- Gather and supply data to the organization to support better data driven decision making
- A degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Business Intelligence, Information Technology or similar is advantageous
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a Software engineering role with focus on data, including delivering production ready Lakehouse or Datawarehouse solutions at enterprise level
- Experience in building, and optimizing data pipelines, architecture and data models
- Experience with one or more of ADF, DBT, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, SQL, DataBricks, DAX and PowerBI
- Experience with Data governance and Data catalog using tools such as Microsoft Purview
- Experience in working with cloud providers, preferable Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and tools and techniques for modelling (Star schema etc.) and transforming data in these.
- Experience with at least one of the following languages – Python, Scala, Spark or SQL
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skill, able to build relationships across levels and functions globally
- Good communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English
- High performer providing honest and reliable feedback and high-quality solutions on time
- Amenable to work in EMEA hours (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM PHT)
