- Reviews current layout, identifies space requirements, understands production processes, & material flows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develops, designs, and recommends efficient layout & flow of people, materials, manufacturing, & equipment
- Implement and execute layout improvement projects
- Performs other Industrial engineering functions such as conducting motion and time studies, line balancing, resource planning, etc.
- Performs cycle time and takt time analysis
- Drives the standardization of processes through providing Standard Work Procedure and Standard Work Sheets
- Eliminate waste through continuous improvement projects
- Interacts with production, warehouse, purchasing, facilities, suppliers, and contractors to implement the project
- Any other tasks as may be required
- Bachelor's Degree With min 5 years of IE work related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Should have experience in using Computer- Aided Design software such as AutoCad, Visual Factory etc.
- Knowledgeable in production process, designing material flow, layout and process flows, capacity planning.
- Excellent computer skills & proficient using Microsoft office.
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and Value Stream Mapping
- Can read & understand CAD drawings
