- Ensure that the agreed payroll deadlines for all clients are based on given service level agreements (SLAs) and statutory requirements: Ensure that 100% payroll, CPF and income tax are completed by agreed deadlines.
- 100% team collaboration and communication: Effective communication and collaboration with team members, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy across salaries, benefits, bonuses, deductions, and tax computations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory filings, including CPF contributions, Annual Income Tax Returns, IR21 Tax Clearance, S45 Withholding Tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their payroll needs and delivering excellent service that drives client satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues, escalating complex matters to the Payroll Manager when necessary.
- Stay up to date with the latest labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements to ensure full compliance in all payroll activities.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date payroll records in line with legal and company standards.
- Handle sensitive payroll and financial data with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity, ensuring data protection at all times.
- Uphold professional standards and ensure strict adherence to client confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 year of payroll processing experience; experience in an outsourced, fast-paced, technology-driven environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., Talenox, Employment Hero, Xero Payroll) and Singapore labour regulations.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other productivity tools to streamline daily tasks.
- Self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptable to changing environments and open to contributing to process improvements.
- Able to meet tight deadlines; immediate availability is preferred.
