Our Mining and Geotechnical Group is seeking for aCivil Design Engineer as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team across a variety of Road Design projects with clients ranging from key water utility and transport providers to major mining clients, this position will predominantly be involved with: Coordination of technical inputs from across the design team. Design of associated civil structures such as roads and grading Prepare design concept drawings and ideas for discussion and conceptual development. Prepare detail drawings that require a degree of technical design utilizing knowledge of relevant design guidelines Carry out quality checks and procedures in accordance with GHD procedures Work as part of a team on larger projects and recommend improvements and innovations Education Bachelor's degree qualifications in Engineering, or similar discipline. Experience 3-5 years' experience working in a relevant field and have a passion for civil infrastructure design An eye for detail with a strong focus on the production of quality outputs Strong capability in the compilation/modification of AutoCAD drawing files Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and focus on client service Able to manage several jobs at once and determine priorities Strong judgement and decisiveness bias for action Proactive, analytical and problem-solving skills Be part of the dynamic culture!
