- Develop baseline construction and fabrication schedules in Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Track and update project programs in accordance with real-time progress reports.
- Monitor critical paths, float, and task dependencies to identify risks and delays.
- Assist in tender program development and resource planning.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and workshop/site supervisors to validate logic and durations.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules and scenario analyses to support proactive planning.
- Flag delays or resource clashes and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop and compile EOT claims and supporting documentation, including impact assessments, program comparisons, and narrative justifications.
- Maintain and distribute weekly progress reports with schedule status, KPIs, and narrative summaries.
- Provide project schedule updates for client meetings as required.
- Ensure client requirements and milestones are accurately reflected in the program.
- Assist in justifying delays and substantiating EOT claims with credible, traceable data.
- Liaise regularly with internal teams to gather data and confirm progress.
- Communicate changes to program or forecast impacts to stakeholders promptly.
- Support project handover meetings and briefings with up-to-date program outputs.
- Clearly document and support time-related claims with factual and consistent reporting.
- Ensure scheduling accounts for safe sequencing of tasks and compliance with company HSQE standards.
- Collaborate with site teams to align programs with ITPs, quality checkpoints, and hold points.
- Highlight schedule risks related to safety-critical works or environmental constraints.
- 3-5 years experience in a scheduling or planning role within construction or heavy industry.
- Experience scheduling steel fabrication, structural works, or multi-discipline construction projects.
- Demonstrated capability in preparing and supporting Extension of Time (EOT) claims, including analysis and documentation.
- Familiarity with EPCM/contractor programming environments and workflows.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly convey schedule impacts and claim justifications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced planning and scheduling competency.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and resource constraints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Dashpivot, or similar (preferred).
- Able to assess scheduling conflicts, identify delays, and compile logical, evidence-based EOT narratives.
- Proactive in improving planning accuracy, visibility, and project controls.
