We are dedicated to growing and developing our employees as we build strong teams with strategic leadership.Job DescriptionThe actuarial analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, scrubbing, documentation and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will be responsible for modeling complex problems, reconciling data sets, analyzing trends and summarizing data for review and analysis. The candidate will provide analysis, will process and compile data for reporting and analysis through creating queries, views and reports. The candidate will provide support and be part of the US Actuarial team.Job Responsibilities

Conduct advanced data analysis and highly complex algorithms
Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in a complex data sets
Filter and scrub data, and review reports and indicators to locate and correct code problems
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

QualificationsRequired Skills/ExperienceTechnical Skills Proficiency Level Required (R) /Optional (O) Microsoft Excel/Word 3 RSQL/Python 3 RVBA 2 RR/SAS 1 ODesired Skills/Experience

Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SQL, etc.)
Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (i.e. Cognos, Business Objects, etc.) and databases (e.g. SQL Server)
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Additional Information

Bachelor’s degree with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or Operations Research - with 5 or more years of experience.
