The Main Responsibilities Of a LEGAL BILLING ANALYST Include Collaborate with Okta Legal, Procurement, and Finance stakeholders to help streamline and own the purchase order and law firm billing process, including opening and managing purchase orders for the Legal team. Work closely with and be the first line of contact for law firms and ensure invoices, accruals, and forecasts are submitted in a timely manner. Create reporting and dashboards within the eBilling system and manage the day-to-day responsibilities including processing and reviewing invoices. Manage the onboarding process for new law firms to Okta s eBilling system and ensure all documentation is complete and has been stored accurately. Ensure law firm compliance with Okta s Billing Guidelines. Create and manage new matters for the legal team within Okta s eBilling system to ensure all relevant information is properly entered into our eBilling system; follow up with the Legal team, law firms, and Finance as necessary. To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements: Minimum 3 Years Professional Experience. 1+ years Legal billing experience. Experience with purchasing software (Coupa experience preferred) and legal eBilling and/or matter management software (CounselLink experience preferred). Superior Analytical Skills And Strong Financial Capabilities. Strong communication skills (written/verbal). Demonstrated ability to work across functional teams. Experience With Data Analysis Using Excel Analytical Functions. Accepts responsibility, takes initiative, and possesses the ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed. Previous law firm or in-house legal team services experience preferred.
