With more than 89,000 employees, SGS operates a network of over 2,600 offices and laboratories around the world.Job DescriptionTax Reporting and LegalReconciles and prepares the following tax returns and computes tax liabilities prior to payment and electronic filing in EFPS:Value Added Tax - VATWithholding taxes (compensation, expanded and final tax)Fringe Benefit Tax - FBTOther tax reports and listingsCorporate Income TaxDocumentary stamp taxAnnual registration feeE-submission of tax listings such as monthly alphalist, input VAT & output VATAssist in responding and taking action on letters received from BIR, LOAs, Tax Mapping and government regulatory agencies for queries and assessmentsInitiates processing of new and renewal application of business permit for all locations and related documents such as barangay clearance etc.Process tax clearance and other related tax documentsAssist in annual business permit and other local regulatory requirementsFiles and maintains tax and legal documents and other financial records to ensure completeness and orderliness based on established guidelines on filing systemAssist in legal document request related to corporate secretary and other bidding requirements of business units.Assists in preparing and coordinating with the internal for HFM reportingTreasuryDaily cash monitoring for cash management and fundingDaily review of currency exposureChecks daily bank statement and sends credit advices/debit advicesHandles updating of bank records (users and authorized approvers access in Citidirect, ANZ, and BPI Bizlink) and other required bank documentation.Handles requests for performance, surety and bid bonds, request for bank certifications and provide assistance in bidding requirements as requested by DivisionsLoan managementPrepares and maintain loan documentation and schedules, interest & DST preparationProposes intercompany and/or loan settlementQualificationsGraduate of BS Accountancy or its equivalent, preferably CPAMinimum of 1 year experience in Finance / AccountingMust be updated with tax regulationsAdditional InformationMust be flexibleWork under pressureGood communication and interpersonal skills.Able to build trust, respect and confidentiality.Acts quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls.
