Role Summary:The Head of Products will lead the firm’s product strategy and development, driving innovation and ensuring the competitiveness and regulatory compliance of all investment offerings of ATRAM. The role will require a deep understanding of financial products, have experience in structuring both treasury-related products including more complex issuances such as derivatives, as well as familiarity with the Philippine trust industry and the regulatory environment governing Trust Products including but not limited to Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs).Main Duties and Responsibilities:Product Strategy and Innovation:

Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for ATRAM’s product suite, including the creation of new investment products and the enhancement of existing offerings, as well as determining products that need to be amended or even discontinued

Structuring and Design:

Lead the end-to-end structuring and development of collective investment schemes such as Unit Investment Trust Funds and Mutual Funds, and other pooled investment products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, alignment with market demand, and integration with the institution’s overall product strategy.
Collaborate closely with the Investment Team to develop advanced financial products such as structured notes and derivatives-based instruments, tailored for inclusion in client portfolios or for offering to qualified investors, ensuring suitability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with client risk profiles and investment objectives.
Coordinate with ATRAM Alternatives in the structuring of alternative investment products—such as private equity, private credit, real assets, and other issuances— while driving the end-to-end process of securing operational readiness, legal documentation, and regulatory and compliance approvals necessary for product issuance and distribution.

Regulatory Compliance and Governance:

Ensure that all products--- particularly Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs) and other trust-related offerings, are fully compliant with existing Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations and other applicable laws. Same applies to Mutual Funds and other products under the purview of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). This includes proactively monitoring for regulatory updates or new issuances, assessing their impact on existing products, coordinating necessary changes or enhancements, and ensuring timely and accurate regulatory reporting, documentation, and disclosures in line with governance standards.

Market and Client Insight:

Stay abreast of market trends, competitor developments, and client needs to anticipate demand and ensure product relevance and competitiveness.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Collaborate closely with Investments, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Risk Teams to develop, launch, and manage products throughout their lifecycle

Trust Industry and UITF Expertise:

Provide in-depth knowledge and insights into the UITF market and the broader trust industry to position the firm’s offerings effectively.

Training and Stakeholder Engagement:

Serve as subject matter expert to train internal stakeholders and sales units on product features, investment rationale, and regulatory context.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA, CPA or Master’s Degree is an advantage
At least 8-10 years of proven relevant experience in Product Development, and/or Structuring within an asset management, treasury, or trust institution
Should have any one of the ff: TIFP One-Year Course on Trust Operations and Investment Management; UITF CUSP and SEC CIS Certification · Certified Treasury Professional/Treasury Certification Program (BAP or ACI); Securities Representative License – Capital Markets
Exposure to both institutional and retail product development
Experience interacting with regulators, particularly the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail
Client-centric mindset with a passion for innovation in investment solutions
