Beyond this, our operations drive economic growth and improve health and education outcomes in the regions we serve, supporting over 3,700 direct jobs globally.Guided by our values-Care, Respect, Integrity, Performance, and Teamwork-we strive to be a trusted company people want to work for, partner with, and invest in, creating lasting value for all our stakeholders.Job DescriptionSeeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Specialist-Maintenance Planning who will be responsible in the maintenance planning of all equipment maintained by the department which includes the surface mobile and equipment, underground mobile and fixed plant equipment, communications and IT, and camp facilities equipment. The role will report to the Supervisor - Planning.Key tasks and responsibilities:

Planning and scheduling of all maintenance work through computerized maintenance management system-Pronto Xi, to ensure resources are prioritized in accordance with the maintenance strategy
Ensure planned routine maintenance, non-routine maintenance, breakdowns, approved modifications are scheduled to be undertaken with minimum disruption to the mining operation
Ensure that parts, equipment, materials and tooling are allocated to the correct job before work is placed on the weekly work schedule
Prepare and issue weekly maintenance schedule to execution team, contractors and other affected department, monitors compliance to weekly schedules and general maintenance effectiveness
Liaise closely with the Supply Department to ensure expediting of outstanding orders, a continuity of supply of all replacement parts and spares levelling strategies
Support day to day functions of the whole section of Asset Management Department as required by the Planning Supervisor

Qualifications

Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way
Graduate of Engineering (i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), Licensed is an advantage
Minimum of five (5) years in maintenance planner role; maintaining surface and/or underground equipment (e.g., light / heavy mobile equipment, pumping stations, underground ventilation fans, electric motors, electrical starters, etc.) or other related industry
With a valid Professional Driver's License is an advantage
Experience in maintaining Mobile Equipment Fleet, Fixed Plant Equipment, Communications, Automation and Camp facility equipment is highly regarded
Preferably coming from Mining or related industry
Knowledge in Computerized Maintenance Management System
Experience in PRONTO is an advantage
Understand Mobile Equipment, Mechanical and Electrical equipment installation, and general parts
