As the PBFA Senior Financial Analyst, you will be part of a high performing team that acts as trusted business advisors supporting the Area / region Finance leadership on varied analytical matters related to the operational results. This role actively participates in the data gathering, transaction processing, report compilations and aiding in analytical reviews on monthly and periodic financial numbers. Involvement in ad-hoc projects and business initiatives will be a part of the role too.Your key responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports and provide revenue and cost analysis.
- Assist in monitoring and tracking the financial results against operational and strategic objectives as well as historical performance
- Involve in preparing, synthesizing and communicating detailed financial information to Finance and business leaders; assist in identifying any potential risks which might impact service line performance and coordinate with the Team in providing strategic input to support effective decision making
- Perform and coordinate various budget and forecast exercises, support the translation of business projections into meaningful figures, including data processing, modeling and reporting
- Support the team lead with the day-to-day management of the inventory, including billing and collection management, WIP and debtor aging analysis, and alert respective leaders for any potential credit risks
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process including compiling and/or reviewing journals and reconciliations
- Any other bookkeeping and reporting matters
- Execute ad-hoc analysis and data mining projects as needed by leaders
- Provide technical support, knowledge and counsel to others within the finance discipline

As a successful candidate you will have relevant functional experience managing activities in the PBFA domain and hands-on experience on technical tools like MS Office as well as ERP applications like Peoplesoft, SAP etc.To qualify for the role, you must have
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
- Membership of accredited professional accounting bodies (CPA / ACCA / CIMA etc.) is desirable.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in finance related roles (mainly Financial Planning & Analysis
- Knowledge of other data analytics tools such as Python, Power BI, Tableau are an advantage
- Positive attitude coupled with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong technical skills with the ability to analyze problems, design and implement solutions independently.
- Demonstrated experience working in a matrix and cross border organization structure
- Team oriented approach, with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and the ability to prioritize several conflicting demands to meet exacting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, presentation and client advisory skill.
- Ability and willingness to work in a multicultural and diverse environment and flex style as appropriate.
- Strong spoken and written English
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills - ability to manipulate and draw trends from large amounts of data.
