- Targeted Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients within the schools and commercial property management sectors.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Execute strategic outbound calls and email campaigns to engage decision-makers and generate new sales opportunities.
- Lead Qualification: Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to understand prospects' current security challenges, needs, and budget, ensuring they are a strong fit for our services.
- Value Proposition: Effectively communicate the benefits and unique selling points of our physical security services (e.g., manned guarding, patrol, specialized training programs).
- Pipeline Management: Accurately track and manage all sales activities, prospect interactions, and lead progression using internal spreadsheets and our CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team to seamlessly hand off qualified leads for further development and closing.
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Performance Reporting: Consistently meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
- Number of outbound calls/emails per day/week
- Number of qualified leads generated
- Number of meetings scheduled for outside sales
- Pipeline value contribution
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven inside sales, telemarketing, or business development experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Experience selling services (rather than just products) is a strong plus.
- Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone demeanour.
- Strong active listening and objection-handling abilities.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for tracking and reporting.
- Experience with CRM software for managing contacts and sales activities and email automation software such as Constant Contact.
- Ability to research and identify target accounts effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
