About This Role The Associate Knowledge Manager plays a crucial role in Macrae’s global knowledge management task force, supporting recruiting teams in driving revenue and delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates. This role’s primary responsibility is to ensure the company’s collective intelligence is accurately and promptly entered into the database, making it accessible to recruiting teams worldwide. This role may be assigned to provide temporary short- term to medium-term relief to knowledge management teams globally, which would require uploading and drafting of emails and documents, contributing to projects through data-entry, and conducting research using both internal databases and external resources. A key aspect of this role is coordinating with other remote colleagues to provide global leverage to recruiters, staff, and management with up-to-date system data to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. The primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Recruiter & Team Support Collect information from Recruiters, Knowledge Managers, and Strategic Researchers via call notes, meeting notes, and emails for data-entry. 1 . The title "Associate Knowledge Manager" does not imply that the role involves managing people. Instead, it highlights the critical responsibility of overseeing and organizing key information essential to the firm’s success. Confidential & Proprietary – Macrae Work Product 2 Work with the Knowledge Management team to ensure that Recruiters and Managers receive superior administrative support. Assist with research requests with the guidance of a Knowledge Manager, Strategic Researcher, or Recruiter. Provide support in scheduling client, recruiter, and candidate meetings, interviews, and video conferences as needed. Market Intelligence & Data Management Transfer data from external documents into our internal databases. Check source documents/data for accuracy, and flag data where necessary. Proactively maintain the integrity and quality of our database. Store completed documents in designated locations. Respond to requests for information and access relevant data. Comply with company data integrity and security policies. Identify, capture, record, and circulate information as needed. Preferred Qualifications Work Experience Must have 4+ years of professional work experience in a support role at law firms, legal or executive search, professional services industries, and/or with C-levels, is preferred. Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, is preferred. Skills and Attributes Attention to detail, and written/oral communication are critical in this role. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and possess the ability to learn new databases. A successful candidate thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment and can prioritize and manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. A successful AKM is intuitive, takes initiative, is highly responsive, flexible, adaptable, and is solutions and task-oriented.
