Championing a collaborative, supportive and flexible work environment empowers our colleagues to reach their full potential.Job DescriptionAs a Software Test Engineer for Avaloq, you will be creating and maintaining automated tests for the Avaloq Smart Client, APIs and Web.
Your key tasks

Create and maintain test cases for the ABR/S baseline. Translate use case and test case documents into automated test cases. Fix or adapt the test cases if deemed necessary.
Perform business as usual operations such as reporting bugs/problems that are discovered by the automated tests.
Innovate and maintain the existing test frameworks.
Career path directs to ownership of the automated testing framework and subject matter expertise on Avaloq banking modules.

Qualifications

5 or more years of software testing work experience
Test Plan and Test Case development and execution
Functional, Regression, End to End Testing
Has a grasp on object oriented programming and relational database
Knowledge in Oracle database administration is preferred
Has excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving
Has Interest in gaining in-depth knowledge of banking
Perseverance in analyzing complex situations and finding the optimal solution
Quality-conscious attitude
Has high customer orientation
