Job Description Balsam International is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Analyst to support our Inventory Planning and Procurement initiatives. This role reports directly to the Procurement Supervisor and take ownership of day-to-day procurement operations, including purchasing, managing vendor relationships, tracking orders and data, handling contracts and payments, and generating reports to support cross-functional teams. What you'll be doing: Order Creation and Management Ensures timely and accurate placement of purchase orders. Negotiates PO terms with vendors to reach acceptable agreements. Monitors vendors' compliance with agreed ship dates. Tracks all orders and shipments to ensure correct and on-time delivery of goods. Partners closely with our Operations team and external partners to ensure timely and accurate execution of inventory plans. Data Management Creates, manages, and audits large data sets in support of various Planning and Procurement functions. Supports the Planning team in the execution of demand forecasting and supply planning. Partners with merchant teams in planning for New Product Introductions. Collaborates with the Operations team in shipment scheduling and warehouse allocation. Facilitates the transfer and implementation of data between various systems, databases, and spreadsheets. Operates system-based processes and procedures for planning, order management, purchasing and supply chain. Drives automation and documentation of planning functions and processes. Vendor and Contract Management Develops effective communication strategy and maintains good business relations with vendors. Monitors the purchasing mailbox and serves as the point of contact for vendors on all PO concerns. Assists the merchandising team with vendor onboarding. Maintains and keeps records of vendor contracts and insurance certificates. Accounts Payable Management Submits PO, commission, and/or sample payments that are due for approval. Monitors payments to ensure vendors and agents are paid accurately and on time. Maintains and reconciles records of payments and chargebacks. Coordinates vendor requests for new or changed bank account information to the accounting team for verification. Reporting and Analysis Develops reports and presentations in a clear and actionable manner. Supports team and other functions through ad hoc analysis and projects. Adapts, develops, and expands skills as new and advanced tools and solutions are introduced. Other Duties and Responsibilities Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time. What we're looking for: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or other related course with quantitative background. Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in procurement involving purchase orders, which also entails analyzing data sets in support of various Inventory Planning and Procurement initiatives preferably gained from a multinational environment. Must be adept in collaborating with other teams on the conduct of in-depth cross-functional projects which will have a direct impact on Balsam Brands' business. Location: The Procurement Analyst position is a remote working position for Balsam International Unlimited Company - Philippine ROHQ in Manila. Team members in the Philippines are located within Metro Manila, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, Rizal, and Tarlac areas only.
