- Working closely with the show and leadership teams, marketing teams, and operations to develop, manage and analyse marketing plans.
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with the marketing & analytics as well as the sales support and operations team as necessary; briefing, developing, overseeing, project managing and owning the delivery of a multi-channel on and offline marketing plan.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and consumer preferences to support marketing plans
- Set specific marketing goals that align with the overall direction and business goals
- Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products
- Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects, and marketing plans
- Identifying, building, and updating personas for each show supported
- Bachelor's/College Degree in a relevant field
- Must have at least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, quantitative and deductive reasoning skills
- Good communicator and strong presentation skills
- Proven track record in marketing, preferably in the exhibition environment
- A good understanding of the marketing mix
- A strategic thinker and team player
- The creative ability to further develop business opportunities and to launch new initiatives
- The attributes required to secure and optimise strong business relationships/partnerships
- Excellent time management skills, to be able to prioritise a workload of a demanding event
