- Product Sourcing: Effectively source and restock products to meet demand, ensuring that supply always matches our forecasting models
- Inventory Forecasting & Management: Proactively monitor and manage inventory levels, with strong use of Helium10 or similar platforms. Stay on top of sales trends, seasonality, and marketing campaigns to ensure stock levels are optimized.
- Expiration Management: Keep track of product expiration dates and collaborate with the marketing team to prioritize sales for items nearing expiration.
- Sales Channel Impact: Anticipate and manage the effects of new sales channels (like TikTok Shop and Facebook Ads) on inventory needs. Adapt forecasting based on shifting demand.
- Proactive Reordering: Ensure timely reordering of inventory by tracking low stock levels and setting reorder points with suppliers to prevent both stockouts and overstock.
- Inventory & Financial Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on inventory status, potential stock risks, and forecasted needs. Incorporate cost analysis and financial metrics to guide data-driven decisions.
- Helium10 Platform Management: Utilize Helium10 for accurate inventory forecasting and management. Experience with Helium10 is a plus—if you're not experienced, you must be able to quickly learn and master it.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing, ads, and operations teams to align inventory levels with sales strategies and ensure smooth, synchronized operations.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management and product sourcing, particularly for Amazon FBA Private label.
- Proficiency in inventory forecasting tools, with specific experience using Helium10.
- A solid understanding of sales trends, seasonality, and how to integrate those into inventory strategies.
- Experience with supplements or gated products is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage cross-functional coordination.
- Ability to work in the Pacific (PST) time zone as we are based in Vancouver, Canada
- Self-motivated and able to take proactive measures to manage inventory levels efficiently.
