This role ensures consistent HSSE excellence while adapting to local regulatory requirements, cultural contexts, and business practices. The position requires deep local market knowledge combined with ability to implement regional HSSE strategies and drive performance across multiple facilities and service lines.Key ResponsibilitiesRegional HSSE Operations ManagementLead HSSE program implementation across multiple facilities within assigned country/regionEnsure consistent application of JLL safety standardsManage local HSSE team including Site Safety Officers and specialized coordinatorsDrive operational excellence while maintaining flexibility for local business requirementsImplement regional HSSE strategy developed by APAC Lead with local adaptationRegulatory & Compliance ManagementEnsure comprehensive compliance with local environmental, health, and safety regulationsEstablish process and procedure for reporting to local regulatory authorities and government agenciesLead country-specific risk assessments and develop localized mitigation strategiesOversee implementation of account HSSE System and compliance with HSSE programsCoordinate local permits, licenses, and regulatory reporting requirementsAdapt global HSSE standards to meet local regulatory and cultural requirementsPerformance Management & AnalyticsMonitor and report regional HSSE performance to APAC Lead and local leadership/teamsConduct monthly performance reviews with site teams and provide quarterly regional reportsAnalyse local trends and performance data to identify improvement opportunitiesBenchmark performance against local industry standards and regulatory requirementsDrive corrective actions for performance gaps and non-conformancesSupport audit assessments and compliance programsContractor & Vendor ManagementEstablish and monitor contractor HSSE requirements and performance standardsConduct contractor prequalification and ongoing performance evaluationsCoordinate contractor safety orientations and ongoing compliance monitoringManage relationships with local HSSE service providers and consultantsEnsure contractor compliance with both local regulations and client’s requirementsDrive continuous improvement in contractor safety performanceIncident Management & Emergency ResponseLead investigation of significant incidents within the regionEnsure timely incident reporting and response in accordance with JLL and client’s requirementsCoordinate emergency response activities and business continuity planningManage stakeholder communications during incidents and regulatory mattersDrive systematic root cause analysis and preventive action implementationShare lessons learned with APAC Lead and other regional teamsStakeholder Management & Client RelationsInterface with local account facility management and business leadershipCoordinate with landlords, tenants, and building management companiesManage client relationships and support business development activitiesFacilitate communication between local teams and APAC LeadRequired QualificationsEducation & Professional CredentialsDegree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldAdvanced professional certifications (NEBOSH Diploma, CSP, CIH, or equivalent)ISO management system certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor)Experience Requirements12+ years progressive HSSE leadership experience in multinational corporate environment5+ years senior management experience in APAC region with cultural competencyProven track record leading and implementing HSSE systems/programs in multinational corporate environmentExperience managing complex stakeholder relationshipsBackground in facilities management, corporate real estate, or related industries preferredDemonstrated success in driving sustainability and environmental performanceTechnical
