Summary:A leading financial institution is seeking a Fixed-Income Portfolio Manager to formulate and execute investment strategies for various portfolio mandates. The role will involve close coordination with the Head of Fixed Income, ensuring portfolio performance meets key metrics and benchmarks while proactively identifying investment opportunities to generate superior returns with acceptable risk.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to ensure portfolios consistently outperform assigned benchmarks.
Identify investment opportunities within the fixed income space that offer superior returns within the investment mandate.
Establish and streamline trading procedures to ensure efficient workflow for fixed income portfolios.
Collaborate with bond traders and liquidity traders to ensure smooth trade execution and deployment of cash across portfolios.
Provide sales support to enhance client relationships and portfolio growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
5+ years of experience in bond trading and portfolio management within a financial institution.
Fully competent in portfolio risk management and asset allocation.
In-depth understanding of fixed income markets and how they impact broader investment strategies.
