You will be deeply involved in a wide variety of HR projects including designing and implementing crucial employee engagement initiatives, employee support, onboarding, and workforce planning. Objectives: Employee Relations and Engagement: Ensuring end-to-end HR service delivery by maintaining communications across all departments in a company of both US and Filipino agents. Keeping a pulse on the needs and satisfaction of employees. When needed, providing guidance and/or addressing employees' concerns. Develop and implement Employee Engagement programs to increase employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention rates while promoting a positive work culture. Serve as a liaison between employees and management, playing a pivotal role in resolving workplace issues, conflicts, and concerns. This ensures that both employees and management have a platform to express their opinions and address their needs. Act as an intermediary connecting employees and the management for communication-related to new updates and changes within the company. By facilitating this flow of information, HR contributes to smoother transitions, better employee understanding, and enhanced overall communication within the company. Design and execute employee engagement programs that align with the company's culture and values. Collaborate with various departments to integrate engagement initiatives into everyday work life. Develop and manage recognition and reward systems that acknowledge employee achievements and contributions. Facilitate team-building activities and events that promote camaraderie and a cohesive work environment. Play a crucial role in coordinating and conducting town hall meetings. Provide training and development opportunities that support employee growth and career advancement. Analyze engagement data and metrics to report on the effectiveness of initiatives and make informed decisions. Stay informed of trends and best practices in employee engagement and propose innovative solutions to keep the workforce engaged. Employee Support and Check-Ins: Regularly check in with employees to ensure their well-being and job satisfaction. Provide a platform for employees to express concerns, share feedback, and discuss their career aspirations. Conduct regular surveys and focus groups to analyze results, assess employee sentiment, and identify areas for improvement. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Address employee grievances and conflicts. Onboarding and Orientation: Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout recruitment, keeping employees informed and engaged. Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a warm welcome and thorough integration into the company culture. Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to the organization. Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed. Provide new employees with the necessary information and resources to excel in their roles. Timekeeping: Manage all aspects of timekeeping. Oversee the implementation and management of the timekeeping system, tracking employees' working hours. Ensure the organization complies with labor laws and regulations concerning overtime, breaks, payroll, salary, benefits, and time tracking. Maintain records of employeesu0027 attendance and manage leave requests, including vacation, sick leave, and other types of time off. Ensure that leave policies are followed, and employees are aware of their available leave balances. Generate attendance reports to track employee punctuality, absenteeism, and other relevant metrics. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Responsible for establishing and communicating time off policies, including procedures for requesting time off, eligibility criteria, and any limitations or blackout periods. Review and verify timesheets employees and managers submit to ensure accuracy before payroll is processed. Performance Management: Provide guidance on leadership capabilities, performance management, team efficiency, and organization design. Work with Team Leads and management to design, implement, and execute performance appraisal systems, provide employee feedback, and assist in creating performance improvement plans when necessary. Provide expert guidance and support in addressing performance concerns/issues. Assist in developing and executing KPIs for various departments. Advise on performance and review processes and activity throughout the year. Identify training needs and coordinate and facilitate employee training sessions with Learning Specialist. Monitor employee development progress and provide coaching as needed. Implement career development and succession planning initiatives. Workforce Planning, Compensation, and Benefits programs: Utilizing metrics to develop solutions that address gaps in the workforce and capitalize on opportunities. Supporting the organization by developing the capacity and readiness within the workforce for future growth. Identify high-potential employees, assist and support Learning Specialist in creating talent development plans, and establish succession plans for short-, medium-, and long-term needs and key roles within FMC. Assist management in ensuring FMC compensation practices and benefits packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards to attract and retain top talent. Policy Development and Compliance: Assist in the development and maintenance of company policies while ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations. Data Privacy and Security: Responsible for safeguarding sensitive employee information and ensuring compliance with data protection laws. Labor Law Compliance: Ensure that timekeeping practices and overtime management align with applicable labor laws, including regulations related to minimum wage, overtime pay, and rest breaks. What it takes to be part of our team: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role with a focus on employee engagement. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Creative thinker with a passion for developing a positive work environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong ethics and reliability. Certification in HR or employee engagement programs is a plus . Familiarity with California employment laws and regulations is a plus (but not required) Experience with HR software ADP Run or Gusto is a plus (but not required).
