This is a remote position.ABOUT ACCESS OFFSHORING:We specialise in providing Australian businesses with experience and qualified professionals based in the Philippines. Not only does our team of recruiters have extensive experience in sourcing and recruiting offshore talent, we also help Australian businesses implement best practice when it comes to building an offshore team.ABOUT THE CLIENT:Our client is an established HVAC & electrical company based in Australia. We use Simpro as our core job management platform and Quotient for preparing and sending quotes to customers. We need someone who can support our office and service operations remotely across both systems.JOB SUMMARY:To remove the quoting and parts bottleneck within the business, improve quote turnaround to a maximum of 2 days, increase close rate from 53% to 65%, and directly contribute to a minimum $40,000 per month revenue uplift.This is a revenue-impacting role, not an admin position.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Air Conditioning Estimating (Primary Function)

Prepare and issue quotes for:

– New split system installations
– Replacement split systems
– Standard ducted systems (new & changeovers)

Use rule-of-thumb sizing aligned with company standards
Produce duct layouts (Knowledge of Plandroid or equivalent would be a huge bonus)
Build pricing using company templates and margin structure, as well as quotes from scratch
Issue quotes independently under delegated authority

Authority Level:

AC installation quotes under $3,000 may be issued without approval (threshold to increase with performance)

2. Repairs & Service Quoting

Review technician reports and site photos
Assess repair vs replace scenarios
Accurately price parts and labour
Protect margin in decision-making
Issue repair quotes under $1,500 without approval (threshold to grow over time)

3. Parts & Supplier Coordination

Identify and source parts from supplier portals
Liaise directly with suppliers
Obtain pricing and ETAs
Raise purchase orders in SimPRO
Ensure correct allocation of parts to jobs
Reduce errors and delays in procurement

4. Systems & Process Development

Operate within SimPRO, Quotient, CompanyCam, and supplier portals
Help refine quoting templates and pricing structures
Improve estimating workflows and internal systems
Contribute to building scalable processes

Use Chat GPT or equivalent to maximise performance & improve efficiency6-Month Success Metrics

Quote turnaround time reduced to maximum 2 days
Business owner time freed up by 20 hours per week
Admin workload reduced by 15 hours per week
Close rate improved from 53% to 65%
Minimum $40,000 per month revenue uplift

RequirementsSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven HVAC estimating experience (highly preferred)
Strong understanding of split and ducted systems
Experience quoting repairs from technician reports
Experience working with supplier portals and procurement processes
Strong commercial awareness — understands margin, not just pricing
Experience using job management systems (SimPRO experience highly regarded)
Ability to read plans and produce duct layouts preferred

SimPRO – Job management, estimating, purchase orders
Quotient – Client-facing quoting and proposal delivery
CompanyCam – Site photo documentation and job review
Supplier Portals – Pricing, stock checks, ordering
Microsoft Excel – Pricing builds and margin control (we are amatuers here- more knowledge welcome)
Outlook – Email communication
Microsoft Teams – Internal admin communication
Voxer – Direct communication with field technicians

Demonstrated experience using job management software in a trade-based or construction environment is highly regarded.
Ability to adapt quickly to multiple communication platforms is essential.Trial Structure
